Purdue University Dance Marathon (PUDM) is the largest philanthropy on Purdue’s campus. The entire dance marathon team works hard year-round to put on the 18-hour marathon event that to date has raised over 10 million dollars collectively for Riley Hospital for Children.

The Executive Board members are the leaders of PUDM. These individuals will work year-round leading committees and preparing for PUDM 2023. For more information on each executive’s position and requirements, view the callout PowerPoint linked below.

Chair positions for Dance Marathon are high-level leadership roles. You are encouraged to be very familiar with the positions before applying, including responsibilities and time commitments. Please be aware that if you accept your position, you will be held responsible for attending all required events starting January 2023 through the end of the term.
Committee Member applications are now open.
Committee member positions for Dance Marathon are medium-level leadership roles. You are encouraged to be familiar with the positions before applying, including responsibilities and time commitments. Please be aware that if you accept your position, you are committing to weekly meetings along with a $920 fundraising goal and a fee of $10 for committee member dues. Team Captain applications are now open.
A Team Captain is a student leader who leads a group of participants for the marathon. As a Team Captain you will be responsible for leading a team, preparing participants for the marathon, and answering any questions they may have. You will be the main liaison between the leadership team and the participants.
Conductor applications are now open.
A conductor is a student leader who leads a group of Committee Members Champions within their committee. As a Conductor, you are responsible for helping create a smooth transition for a small group of committee members, being a leader in group messages, and overall creating a positive and fun committee atmosphere.
